Well Hello There!My name is Blaire Bender and I live in sunny San Diego, CA. I am currently a Freshman (Class of 2015) at University of Oregon in Eugene where I plan to major in Business Administration with a focus in Sports Marketing and a minor in Public Relations. Last school year at La Costa Canyon HS, I was elected ASB Executive President by the LCC Student Body. I loved being involved and apart of Student Government at LCC! At La Costa Canyon H.S., I played 3 Varsity sports: Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, going on adventures with friends, exploring, doodling, working, 'vegging', and meeting new people! Read more on the Resume page!

Student Government at La Costa Canyon High School

ASB Executive President, 2010-2011Elected ASB Executive President by school (2,400 students). As school President, led the planning and organization of the ASB Class as well as spearheaded Formal Dances, coordinated activities, and conducted daily meetings. As President, was involved in and responsible for school events and activities, as well as established a strong connection between administration and stu- dents through leadership skills and effective communication.ASB Executive Vice President, 2009-2010Elected ASB Executive Vice President by school (2,400 students). As school Vice President, led the planning and organization of Homecoming, Formal, Prom, Arts Appreciation Week. Provided an enjoyable experience for students through active leader- ship in school wide projects.ASB Sophomore Class Vice President, 2008-2009Elected Sophomore Class Vice President by class student body. As class Vice President, helped prepare and plan Spirit Days, was in charge of organizing the MORP Spring Dance, Homecoming Assembly, fundraisers and various lunch time activities.ASB Freshman Class Vice President, 2007-2008Elected Freshmen Class Vice President by class student body. As class Vice President, aided in the preparation of Homecoming Week, lunch time activities, and developed other events benefiting the students and staff.
